Project Mary is a charity initiative that partners with hotels and frontline professionals to offer immediate safety to people experiencing domestic violence or abuse.
When someone enters a participating hotel and asks to “speak to Mary,” trained staff discreetly recognise the code and escort them to a secure, private space. From there, our network of professionals—including social workers, police, medical staff, and security—are contacted to provide the right help.
What We Ask From Hotels:
- Offer a safe, private room while help is on the way
- Ensure staff are trained to respond with care and discretion
- No obligation to provide accommodation or food
- Absolutely no cost to your business or to the person seeking help
We take care of everything else. You provide the safe space, and our network steps in to guide the person to safety and support.
